The National Environmental Health Association will hold its Annual Educational Conference in Washington, D.C. July 9-11, 2013.  For more information please visit neha2013aec.org and view the NEHA AEC press release / flyer.
  • NEHA encourages its members and other stakeholders to provide feedback regarding a revision to NEHA’s definition of the terms “environmental health” and “environmental health professional. Please go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/26FT75S and provide your input. Make sure you have provided feedback by May 1, 2013. Upon analysis of results, the NEHA board will adopt a revised definition and scope of practice for environmental health or take no action, allowing current articulations to stand.

  • The Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs (AEHAP) has released a video promoting environmental health degree programs among college-bound students. AEHAP was formed by the CDC and the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) to address a severe national shortage of highly trained environmental health professionals.
