Join us on an opportunity to tour U.S. Sugar's farms and facilities and learn more about their sustainable sugarcane operations, Best Management Practices (BMPs) and state of the art facilities

March 27th 2025 7:30am-3:30pm

"2025 FEHA District Meeting US Sugar Interactive Training is approved for 3.5 Contact Hours or 0.35 CEUs for those certified under section 381.0101, Florida Statutes"

Cost: $10 Includes lunch and transportation from Fort Myers to Clewiston

In addition to your FEHA registration, the tour is asking that you all register individually with them. It is a free, simple google form.

You MUST do this by 10am on Wednesday. Please do not wait. you may have to use your personal computer to click the link. sometimes government computers do not like Google products.

We will be meeting at 7am in the parking lot located at:

6800 shoppes at plantation dr.

We will meet in the back near suite 170.

Here is the agenda for our tour:

7:30 AM    Depart from Fort Myers
9:15 AM    Arrive at Clewiston Chamber of Commerce, 109 Central Avenue, Clewiston, FL
9:30 AM    Tour Herbert Hoover Dike, Lake Okeechobee, sugarcane fields and water systems
11:30 AM  Break for complimentary lunch
12:45 PM  Tour of sugarcane mill and refinery
1:15 PM    Return to Clewiston Chamber of Commerce and tour museum
2:00 PM    Depart Clewiston
3:30 PM    Return to Fort Myers
