Save the Date — FEHA Central District Meeting (Highlands County)!

Join FEHA at the Highlands County Health Department for a fun, hands-on learning day focused on Migrant Labor Camps in Highlands County—with a live training session and a real-world field experience.

You’ll kick off with an interactive training led by Heather Mathis & Jason Wolfe (Florida Department of Health), then head out with the group for a field trip to a Migrant Labor Housing Facility for a guided tour, mock inspection, and practical discussion.

Start Time: 9:30am

Agenda:

  • 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Migrant Labor Camp Discussion + Q&A

  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch at Cowpokes Watering Hole (or on your own) Lunch not included

  • 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Facility Tour + Mock Inspection
